Oversized breasts lead to physical, psychological and social problems.
As a result of heavy weight of the breasts, shoulders collapse, pain in the shoulders and in the back, skin irritations occur under the breasts. Difficulty in finding appropriate garments, limitations in daily life activities lead to psychological and social problems.
All age groups who have completed the puberty age.
1.5 hours to 4 hours.
Under general anesthesia.
Operation scars in the form of lollipop may occur starting from the nipple that ends around the nipple or inframammary fold.
Approximately 1 day.
6 weeks of supportive garments and medical bandages are suggested. Quitting smoking is advised 1 month prior to the operation.
Patients may resume their normal life in one week. Sportive activities and high level of activity is not advised earlier than 6 weeks after the operation.
