Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is one of the most frequently applied surgical operations and It is applied to the patients with small breasts, loss of breast volume after weight loss or childbirth or those who want more volume in their breasts.
Silicone filled prosthesesare used for breast augmentation processes. Such prostheses may be in the for of a droplet or round and chosen in relation with the needs of the individuals. Volume of the prostheses depend on the individual needs.
All age groups above the age of puberty.
45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Under general anesthesia.
Depending on the personal phsiology, scars may be visible around the nipple or inframammary fold.
Approximately 1 day.
6 weeks of supportive garments and medical bandages are suggested. Quitting smoking is advised 1 month prior to the operation.
Patients may resume their normal life in one week. Sportive activities and high level of activity is not advised earlier than 6 weeks after the operation.
