Eyelid Lift
The operation involves excision of extra skin that loses its elasticity due to the effects of gravity and aging.
Lower eyelids can be operated if they also have a baggy look and extra skin that looks saggy.
15 minutes to 1 hour.
Upper eyelid operation is done under local anesthesia and if lower eyelid operation is necessary, full anesthesia or sedation may be applied.
Operation scars will be visible around upper eyelid fold.Lower eyelid operations may have no visible scars from outside but in some cases scars may remain close to the eyelashes.
You will be discharged from the hospital in the same day.
Applying ice will reduce the post-operative inflammations.
